Cherry Blossom?

Don't know my blooming trees well but here in DC anything that is pink and blooms is called a Cherry Blossom...and so I will call this one in my side yard.

The Weekend of the 4th

A trip into DC on Fri for a day of the arts at the national galleries and live music in the garden. And a stop by logan circle and adams morgan to top off the day. I think my favorite discovery was the B&W photo that someone printed, captioned and posted on a concrete wall in adams morgan. Cheaper than a gallery and more eyeballs for sure.

The 4th was spent out in manassas enjoying the local festivities and fireworks. First time trying to shoot fireworks. Some decent results. Below are a few pics from each day.
